Rhodes, Cecil
► (1853-1902) Colonizador, hombre de negocios y político británico. Desde 1881 intervino en política con el propósito de crear para Gran Bretaña un poderoso conglomerado de colonias en África austral. Fue el fundador de Rhodesia y presidió la colonia de El Cabo.
